FABRIC CARE & CLEANING
Upholstery fabrics are classified into one of the following four categories. All fabrics are marked with these codes. These cleaning methods are suggested by the fabric manufactures.
Clean only with water-based solution or foam upholstery cleaner. Do not over we. Do not use solvents to spot clean. Pile fabric may require brushing to restore appearance. Cushion covers should NOT be removed for laundering.
Clean only with a dry-cleaning solvent. Do not saturate. DO NOT USE WATER. Pile fabric may require busing to restore appearance. Cushion covers should NOT be removed and dry-cleaned.
Clean with fabric solution or dry-cleaning solvents as desired. Do not saturate with liquid. Pile fabrics may require brushing to restore appearance. Cushion covers should NOT be removed and dry-cleaned.
Do not clean with either water or solvent based cleaners, vacuuming or light brushing recommended.
Caution: Never remove cushions covers for separate dry-cleaning or washing, even though they do have a zipper. Do not use bleach or any tumble method cleaning service as this may destroy the backing of the fabric or shrink or otherwise damage the upholstery fabric.
